From a little place in south western Ontario, I am a dialect/dialogue coach now based in Toronto.
Living right near the centre of the city is great, not only because it’s downtown Toronto, but also because the immense diversity in the area is terrific for listening to accents and dialects from across the globe. I seek out people from certain places to record for the International Dialects of English Archive, where I am a Senior Editor.
I have a BFA in Acting from York University, and I work as an actor in radio, theatre, animation and TV. When not coaching or acting, you can likely find me fixing something around the house, admiring old things in vintage and thrift shops, or re-watching an episode of the 1960s Batman.
